The Art Institutes' Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Management program gives students the business and management skills they need to work in hotels and restaurants. The course content of the program includes facilities management, management of human resources, purchasing, planning, and cost control as well as deadlines, pitching ideas in front of the class, and working in teams which will help you practice what you will need in order to succeed in the business. After completing the program, graduates are usually able to find to work in entry-level management positions at such places as restaurants, catering companies, banquet halls, and cruise ships.
