Hospitality training
The Culinary Academy's Hotel and Restaurant Management program helps prepare students for entry-level employment in the hospitality industry in such positions as event planner, guest services agent, and food and beverage assistant manager.

The day program takes nine months while the evening program takes 13 months and includes field trips to hotels and restaurants. Both programs prepare students for TIPS and ServSafe certifications and in the use of the Opera-Fidelio software that is used at many hotels. The curriculum includes the following hospitality courses:
- Introduction to Hospitality Management
- Hotel Operations 1 and 2
- Back Office Administration
- Event Planning and Food and Beverage Operations
- Restaurant Management
The program ends with a 300-hour internship where students put into practice what they've learned during the course at local restaurants and hotels.
