Training in the baking and pastry arts
The Culinary Academy's Professional Pastry and Baking program teaches students to create breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts, as well as specialty variations such as artisan breads or low-carb desserts. Students will also learn about the baking and pastry field, equipment and tools of the trade, and sanitation. Students can choose to take morning or evening classes.

The program ends with a 200-hour internship where students work as bakers, pastry chefs, or cake decorators at a bakery, restaurant, hotel, catering company, country club, or other location.
Graduates of the Professional Baking and Pastry program will be qualified to work as an assistant pastry chef or assistant cake decorator.
